Signs Someone May Be Struggling
Some key signs that someone may be experiencing mental health difficulties can include:
• Changes in behaviour, such as withdrawing from people they were previously comfortable with
• Mood changes that seem out of character, including feeling anxious, depressed or irritable
• Changes in sleep or appetite
• Emotional changes such as low self-esteem, feeling worthless or feeling disconnected
• Misuse of substances such as alcohol or drugs
• Noticeable changes in appearance or personal hygiene
These are just a few of the symptoms that may indicate someone is struggling.
If these symptoms last longer than two weeks, it is important to seek professional help or advice.
