These Master Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Care Beyond The Chair Ltd (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and any individual or entity (“the Client,” “you,” or “your”) purchasing our digital products, educational packages, or bespoke workshop services.
By purchasing a product or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Services & Educational Tiers
Care Beyond The Chair Ltd provides educational resources regarding mental wellbeing within the hair and beauty industry. Our offerings include:
1.1. Online Digital Packages
All digital packages include a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access content for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase.
* Foundation Paper / Bronze Tier (£25): Access to the foundation guidelines on protecting mental wellbeing and professional contact directories.
* Silver Tier (£90): Includes the Foundation Paper plus advanced modules on communication skills and knowledge of common/complex mental illnesses.
* Gold Tier (£150): Our most comprehensive educational suite, including all lower-tier content plus advanced scenario-based learning.
* Managers’ Addition (£60 add-on): Available for Silver and Gold tiers. Includes specialized guidance on prioritizing staff wellbeing and updates on relevant UK legislation.
1.2. Bespoke In-Salon Workshops
Tailored training delivered on-site at your premises.
* Duration: 3 to 10 hours total (maximum 5 hours per day).
* Capacity: Fixed pricing applies for up to 10 participants. Smaller groups are welcome, but the cost remains the same.
* Content: Bespoke scenarios based on your specific salon policies and culture.
1.3. Introductory Workshops
One-hour introductory sessions charged at £20 per person, booked and paid via our online platform.
2. Access, Upgrades, and Restrictions
2.1. Online Viewing Only
All digital content is for online viewing only. To protect our intellectual property:
* Content is not printable and cannot be downloaded.
* You may not copy, record, or distribute any part of the online materials.
2.2. Account Security
Access is granted via a unique login. Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing login credentials with third parties is a breach of these Terms and will result in immediate termination of access without a refund.
2.3. The "Upgrade by Difference" Policy
Users on a lower-tier package (e.g., Bronze) may upgrade to a higher tier (e.g., Silver) by paying the price difference.
* Note: Upgrading does not reset the 12-month access clock. Your access expires 12 months from the date of your original purchase.
3. Professional Disclaimer (Critical)
Care Beyond The Chair Ltd is an educational provider, NOT a mental health professional service.
* No Medical Advice: The content provided in our papers, courses, and workshops is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
* No Practitioner Relationship: Engaging with our services does not establish a therapist-client relationship.
* Seek Professional Help: Users should always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional or mental health practitioner regarding specific health concerns. We are not liable for any actions taken or not taken based on our educational content.
4. Financial Terms & Cancellations
4.1. Digital Sales
Due to the immediate delivery of digital content, all online sales (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Managers’ Additions) are final and non-refundable.
4.2. In-Salon Workshop Cancellation
* Client Cancellation: If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost is payable.
* Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule a workshop a maximum of two (2) times with sufficient notice.
* Company Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel/reschedule at any time. In such cases, the workshop will be rescheduled at the earliest convenience with no penalty to the Client.
4.3. Introductory Workshop (£20) Policy
* Refunds: Available only if cancelled 48 hours before the booking.
* Rescheduling: Allowed one time only, provided 48 hours' notice is given.
5. Insurance & Liability
Care Beyond The Chair Ltd maintains full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the provision of Services shall be limited to the total fee paid by the Client for that specific Service.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Care Beyond The Chair Ltd ("we," "us") is the data controller. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all students, stylists, and managers.

We collect personal data (name, email) and "Special Category Data" (information regarding mental wellbeing and personal Wellness Action Plans).
3. Purpose of Processing
We process your data to:
• Provide access to online educational materials.
• Facilitate bespoke in-salon workshops.
• Assist in the creation of personal Wellness Action Plans (WAPs) to support your mental health in the workplace.
4. Sharing Your Information (The Wellness Action Plan)
Confidentiality is a core principle of our service. However, the following applies to Wellness Action Plans:
• Agreed Sharing: Where a WAP is created as part of a workplace support initiative, we may share the results/content of that plan with your designated Manager or Employer.
• Consent: This sharing will only occur where it has been explicitly agreed upon by you during the creation of the plan.
• Purpose of Sharing: The intent of sharing is to ensure your employer can implement the necessary adjustments and support systems identified in your plan.
• Legal Obligation: We may also share data without consent if we believe there is a direct risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or if required by law.
5. Data Storage & Security
• Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers.
• We only retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services or for a maximum of 3 years following the expiry of your 12-month license, unless a longer period is required for insurance purposes.
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification: Correct any inaccurate information.
• Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent for us to share your Wellness Action Plan at any time. Note that this may limit the support your employer can provide.
• Erasure: Request that your data be deleted ("the right to be forgotten").
7. Data Breaches
In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and affected individuals within 72 hours where required by law.
